Day 61: April 2, 2011

Shannon- Dallas TX
Miss Maggie squeezing her tummy rolls...just like her mama!

Carolyn - San Francisco, CA
Filed my taxes yesterday. Now this lovely form gets added to my pile of 'to be filed, at some point, waaaaaaaaay down the road'.

Caroline - Nashville, TN On May 1, 2010 Nashville had the most devastating natural disaster - a in its history - a "1,000 year flood," but no one outside Tennessee knew about it because other, larger news stories at the time eclipsed the coverage . 14 people died; one victim was swept away when his car got hung on a bridge and wasn't found until nearly 4 months later. I participated in a few days of searching along my beloved Harpeth River, which was ravaged. I didn't find him, which I suppose is a good thing, but boy did I feel drawn to this man, for reasons unknown. This week, I happen to be dog sitting half a mile from where he was eventually found. Coincidentally, it was where I had been tromping on my first day of searching. I took photos of his "memorial" today. RIP, Danny Tomlinson.
